As a Supplier Quality Engineer – Project & Program Management Specialist you will take the ownership of complex projects or programs, in regard of supplier’s quality performances during the execution of their purchase orders, in strict synergy with the Supplier Quality team and the project execution team. In this role, you will follow an individual working plan, meet project or program related objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

You will be responsible for:

Being the focal point about supplier quality for Project teams and Customers, with reference to specific projects or programs, in the Oil & Gas market, or in the new product development for energy transition sectoManaging the execution of all supplier quality activities contractually due by suppliers for assigned related projects and programs, such as (but not limited to): supplier’s project risk identification and mitigation, supplier contract review, supplier inspection coordination, supplier nonconformance resolution support (NCR,SDR)Attending inspection and supplier visits, when needed, and participating to other specific meetings related to supplier quality, like pre inspection and progress meetings and kick off meeting with supplierSupporting on supplier quality issues resolution, collaborating with Project and Supplier Quality team and working on Lesson Learned implementation as welFacilitating effective communication between the extended project execution team (Buyer, Supplier Fulfillment Manager, Project Manager, Project Quality Manager, Project Engineer) and suppliers, to ensure quality and on-time delivery executionSupport Technical project team for the resolution of supplier’s punch lists, related to project’s quality inspection activitiesRegularly reporting to internal stakeholders and middle management project status and potential criticalities, supporting implementation of tactical risk mitigation actions and timely issue resolution

To be successful in this role it’s recommended to:

Own strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlineOwn at least 3 years’ experience in quality, industrial or energy sectors, with proven knowledge in one or more of the following areas: rotating equipment (electrical or non-electrical), fabricated equipment, engineered systemHave an open mind and data driven mindsetHave native proficiency in Italian and full professional proficiency in Englis

It will be a matter of preference:

A technical degree (Chemical or Engineering), or equivalent working experienceKnowledge of products and processes in the oil & gas market, or in the new energy technology fieldsExperience with QA/QC tools and techniquesGood networking and negotiation skillsAbility to travel frequently (>30%)Resilience and ability to work under stressResults driven and self-directed approachStrong verbal and written communication skillsMaturated experience in Baker Hughes IET processesIPMA certification
