As a Sourcing Specialist - Buying/Procurement, you will manage the buying process for a given set of goods. You will apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets
 

As a Sourcing Specialist - Buying/Procurement, you will be responsible for:
 

Sourcing and procuring direct and indirect parts and servicesManaging the purchase operations to ensure purchase orders meet budget, On-Time-Delivery, and productivity targetsManaging supplier relationships to understand the business, gather market intelligence, assess risk and ensure compliance to KPIsOverseeing the sourcing and buying process to ensure products are delivered according to quality, specifications, and budgetsSoliciting and evaluating proposals employing appropriate negotiation, cost and price analysis techniques, using available expertiseInitiating Requests for quote (RFQs), execute Purchase Orders and perform procurement activities within project requirements, in accordance with company procedures.Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

Have a Bachelor's from an accredited uni or collegeHave at least 5-7 yr experience gained in the sourcing/ buying/ procurementHave some knowledge of General accounting in SAPDemonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers and suppliersHave Mechanical engineering or experienced in engineering companies with technical background (preferred)
