What this job involves:As a Sourcing Specialist at JLL, you'll play a critical role in driving procurement excellence and delivering measurable value for our clients through strategic sourcing and vendor management. You'll serve as the key commercial liaison between service requesters and suppliers, managing spot buys while ensuring complete compliance with JLL policies, corporate standards, and client internal controls. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing price agreements, executing competitive bidding processes, and identifying cost savings opportunities through negotiations, regional leverage, and innovative sourcing strategies. You'll collaborate with regional sourcing leaders to align supplier capabilities with our clients' business needs, track and report hard savings and cost avoidance, and maintain meticulous vendor files and contract documentation. What your day-to-day will look like:Develop and implement price agreements with suppliers for spot purchases, following all proper approval procedures and ensuring compliance with JLL and client policies
Execute RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs based on client needs, leveraging competitive bidding and benchmarking to generate savings and cost avoidance
Serve as the commercial liaison between internal service requesters and external suppliers, managing day-to-day relationships, issues, deliveries, claims, returns, and exchanges
Monitor and manage blocked invoice reports, coordinating resolution with vendors, finance teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure payments align with agreed terms
Track, document, and report all hard savings and cost avoidance achieved through sourcing activities, contributing to regional financial targets each quarter
Maintain comprehensive vendor files in full compliance with JLL's contractual policies, including contracts, amendments, certificates of insurance, and all supporting documentation
Create and implement savings initiatives by identifying opportunities for regional leverage, supplier consolidation, and process improvements
Review supplier scorecards at minimum annually per contract to assess performance and drive service level improvements
Support Regional Sourcing Coordinators and Managers by providing data, insights, and assistance in developing broader sourcing strategies
Required qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience
2-4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles with demonstrated success in vendor management and cost savings
Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies including RFP/RFQ/RFI processes, competitive bidding, and supplier negotiations
Proven ability to ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls, including successful audit results
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to track, measure, and report savings, cost avoidance, and supplier performance metrics
Strong relationship management and communication skills to effectively liaise between internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Proficiency with procurement systems, vendor management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Detail-oriented approach with exceptional organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate documentation and vendor files
Preferred qualifications:Professional certification such as CPSM, CPPB, or similar procurement credential
Experience working in commercial real estate, facilities management, or professional services environments
Knowledge of contract law, terms and conditions, and legal documentation requirements
Demonstrated success implementing change management initiatives and process improvements
Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) procurement modules
Bilingual capabilities with strong written and verbal communication skills in multiple languages
Previous experience supporting multiple clients or business units simultaneously
Track record of achieving significant cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives
