BGIS is currently seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join the team, Remote, US.

Responsible for ensuring the schedule, budget and details of a given task are well organized and communicate to stakeholders about any changes and or any delays to the project plan.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
For the assigned categories and with guidance and support from Manager: Strategic Category Management Planning & Delivery
Engages stakeholders to understand business requirements. Develops and recommends category plans for Manager review Implements category plansSourcing Strategy
Develops and recommends sourcing strategies that maximize value and mitigate risks to the company and its clients. Submits toManager for review
Implements sourcing strategy Reviews and measures the effectiveness of the strategyOpportunities Assessment & Implementation
Leads and performs opportunities assessment activities and drives leverage across all client accounts Achieves improvements in operational efficiencies and cost savings as a resultCompetitive Bids
Executes end-to-end competitive bid process for assigned categories Negotiates with suppliers to secure optimum cost and maximum valueSupplier Performance Measurement & Management
Identifies and implements performance metrics to measure supplier performance Measures and manages supplier performance Responsible for supplier performance for assigned categories and reports on supplier sustainabilitySupplier Relationship Management
Develops and maintains effective relationships with suppliersSupplier Contractual Agreements
Negotiates, develops, implements, amends and monitors supplier contractual agreementsStrategic Sourcing Best Practices & Industry Trends
Maintains in-depth and current category knowledge as well as knowledge of strategic sourcing best practices and industry trends Provides category and strategic sourcing subject matter expertiseVendor Qualification & Set Up Process
Reviews and approves vendor set up and vendor information changesSupport
Develops maintains standard templates for strategic sourcing documentations including but not limited to contract agreements, scopes of work, service level agreements, and letters of agreements Reviews and approves purchase ordersSpecial Projects
Special projects as assignedOther duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: University graduation or professional certification
JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE: More than two years up to three years

Knowledge of strategic sourcing requirements and practices. The salary range for this exempt position in the US is $70,000-85,000.
A candidate’s salary offer is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, and location.
