As our Sourcing Project Specialist in Ljubljana, you’ll play a key role in supporting Project Procurement and Cost Down in Hydronics-Building Solutions and helping us delivering efficient and cost-effective solutions. Your impact? You’ll support Sourcing Project Managers and Category Managers with data analysis, smaller project execution, and coordination tasks. By keeping things organized and making sure supply chain activities stay on track, you’ll help us execute changes and projects smoothly and thus building a solid foundation for future growth. Over time, you’ll also have the chance to get involved in larger and more complex initiatives.
You’ll collaborate with colleagues across functions – from Portfolio, R&D, Production to logistics and quality – and you’ll interact with stakeholders at different levels inside Danfoss and outside with external partners. Your ability to stay organized, manage tasks, and communicate clearly will make you a valued member of the team.
What You’ll Be Doing Provide data analysis and reporting to support sourcing decisions and projects Act as first point of support for smaller projects and simple changes Help prepare and support projects in the Build and Execution phases Provide professional support to Sourcing Project Managers in procurement workstreams (NPD and Cost-Down projects) Support Category Managers with activities such as resourcing, supplier evaluation, and coordination tasks Ensure projects are delivered on time and at value from a role where you either support, lead or drive workstreams within a project. What We're Looking For A bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience Curiosity, willingness to learn, and the motivation to grow into the role Strong organizational and communication skills, with confidence to interact with colleagues at different levels Best in class analytical skills and ability to structure and enable data understanding for stakeholders Top level in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Analytical mindset and ability to work with data (Excel or similar tools) A collaborative, hands-on attitude and readiness to support the team wherever needed
