What you will do
As a Sourcing Manager (Remote), you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned commodities to ensure the best quality, service, and value for products and services. You will drive cost reduction, supplier optimization, and contract management strategies while building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Your role is pivotal in creating a resilient, innovative, and world-class supply chain that supports market-leading growth and continuous improvement. This role will support the Neurovascular Division. This is a remote role. This person can be located virtually anywhere in the US.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver optimal cost, quality, and service outcomes across assigned commodities.
Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms, enforce contract compliance, and mitigate risks.
Drive cost reduction initiatives through best-cost country sourcing, insourcing, product transfers, and supplier-led innovations.
Optimize and rationalize the supply base by consolidating vendors, assessing spend, and implementing make-versus-buy analyses.
Implement supplier performance management frameworks to monitor quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Conduct risk assessments to strengthen supply chain resilience and ensure business continuity.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
Enable innovation and growth by fostering supplier partnerships that support new product development and market leadership.
What you need
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering or other relevant field
8 years of experience in supply management or manufacturing operations or related field with focus on strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier development
Experience building cross-functional relationships; resolved conflicts and aligned global supply planning
Experience delivering data-driven presentations, turning supply chain insights into actionable strategies
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree
PMP certification
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution, driving process improvements and delivering results on time and within scope
100,500 - 215,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
