Job Purpose:

As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for procurement activities within the Czech Republic, with the possibility to expand your scope to neighboring countries. You’ll implement local and regional category strategies, focusing mainly on Facility Management (FM), Office Supplies, Corporate Wear, Packaging & Print.

You’ll collaborate closely with regional and sub-regional procurement teams to identify best-in-class suppliers, lead supplier negotiations, and strengthen DHL’s supplier relationships.

Your tasks:

Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives — including supply market research and intelligence — to inform investment and budget decisions. Lead the identification of strategic sourcing opportunities, and develop and manage strategic supplier relationships to drive long-term value. Establish and manage local or sub-regional frame contracts in alignment with category strategies and business needs. Integrate Procurement as a value-adding partner at sub-regional and country levels by executing effective Business Relationship Management with DHL divisions. Ensure maximum value contribution, cost efficiency, and benefit realization across all procurement activities while meeting stakeholder expectations for quality, price, and service. Deliver strategic sourcing of goods and services that reduces costs, maintains supply reliability, and supports business objectives.

Your profile:

2+ years of experience in Sourcing or Procurement, ideally within an international or matrix organization. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels and functions. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification. Fluent in English and Czech, both written and spoken. Fluency in at least one of the following languages is an advantage: Polish, Slovakian, or Hungarian. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
