Main responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting and conducting strategic negotiation events for the Software and SaaS Category Build and create relationships with internal clients to understand their contracting needs. Create and manage the RFx processes for complex products and services from strategic requirements to solution evaluation and formal award. Build and refine Category plan to gain stakeholder and sourcing leadership alignment on approach to savings and project priorities. Negotiate business terms with IT vendors and partners (large and small), to minimize risk and maximize price efficiencies. Solid understanding of a wide array of IT contract forms including SaaS, Cloud, Software licensing, Hardware maintenance, MNDA, MSA, DPA & SOW's. Liaise with the Legal, Privacy and Security departments to assure all contract controls and protections are in place. Establish relationships and lead Stakeholders / cross-functional teams to get process buy-in Create Strategic Sourcing partnerships to increase addressable spend. Lead sourcing events from project kick-off to contract execution. Use and evaluate eSourcing tools and new technologies. Become a category expert, developing category playbooks and roadmaps to enhance strategic negotiations, participating in spend analytics and work planning efforts Utilize project management practices and tools to create, manage and report on small to multi-million-dollar project progress. Lead sourcing events from project kick-off to contract execution Strong analytical skills and the ability to transform data into clear and relevant information Strong organizational skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, quality assurance and follow through Become a category expert, developing category playbooks and roadmaps to enhance strategic negotiations, participating in spend analytics and work planning efforts Utilize project management practices and tools to create, manage and report on small to multi-million-dollar project progress. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

4-year college degree, graduate degree preferred. Solid Finance experience in a large organization with the ability to create savings models for complex projects. Experience in evaluating a broad range of technology investments with advanced critical thinking and analytical skills providing our business partners with the greatest flexibility and solution options. Demonstrated expertise leading complex vendor negotiations. Experience with analytically challenging projects including a thorough understanding of budgeting and financial management. The ability to probe customer input to facilitate stronger outcomes. Must exhibit efficiency, collaboration, candor, openness, and results orientation, be service oriented and team focused with a high degree of initiative and follow through. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrable experience in preparing presentations to financial and business leaders, including senior management. Positive attitude and strong team player with eagerness to learn and add value to the organization. Familiarity with Information Technology environment and/or Retail Operations. Consulting (including internal consulting) experience is a big plus Degree or minor in quantitative field such as economics, math, statistics, managerial accounting, business management, etc. is preferred Experience in a retail environment

The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA, Boise, ID, Phoenix, AZ or Plano, TX.

The salary range is $95,400 to $119,100 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked)  or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility).  [If applicable:] Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.
