In this hybrid role, you’ll analyze supplier performance, drive cost-saving initiatives, and negotiate contracts that deliver top-tier quality and value. From new product development to supply base optimization, your insights will fuel smarter decisions and stronger partnerships.
We’re looking for a candidate based in Kalamazoo, Michigan (or nearby). This hybrid role is based at our Kalamazoo, Michigan location with the flexibility to work onsite and remote.
Drive the implementation of sourcing processes that elevate our organization to best-in-class standards.
Collaborate with commodity teams to craft and execute strategic plans that streamline and consolidate our supply base.
Perform deep-dive sourcing analyses, including cost breakdowns and make-versus-buy evaluations to guide smart decisions.
Support contract negotiations and help shape winning contract strategies that deliver long-term value.
Build trusted partnerships with key suppliers and cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and innovation.
Help identify supply chain risks and champion mitigation strategies that protect business continuity.
Stay ahead of the curve by tracking market conditions and emerging technologies that impact sourcing decisions.
Contribute to cost control initiatives and strategic planning efforts that align with business goals and budget targets.
What you need
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply management, business, finance, engineering or related field
4 years in supply management or related field with focus on strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier development
Proficiency in Excel and Power BI
Preferred Qualifications
Medical device experience or another regulated industry
Experience with negotiation and contract review and development
Project management experience
