We make products for the data center, utility, industrial, commercial, machine building, residential, aerospace and mobility markets. **What you’ll do:** + This position is responsible for the sourcing primarily for packaging categories for both PQ PH & ELX PH Plants. Supporting initiatives to achieve growth, including: NPI supporting, localization projects, cost out plan, quality improvement, on time delivery and other supply chain initiatives for APAC Region. + This position is also the key person to lead projects across PH PQ and ELX BU. + Enhance ethics and compliance through SCM Policies and process deployment. + Responsible for sourcing and localization primarily packaging category for Eaton PQ PH& ELX PH plants through hard negotiation, benchmarking, resourcing, VAVE etc. + Work with APAC Packaging Category Manager to develop packaging sourcing strategies to effectively leverage spend in PQ PH and ELX PH to identify synergies and supplier strategies to deliver cost benefits. + Lead critical, strategic cost out projects to ensure key cost reduction targets are met and process is maximized to deliver expected results. + Lead supply base enhancement, prequalification and management to ensure cost-effective supply with consistent quality and acceptable service & delivery levels for both PHP PH & ELX PH plants. + Ensure category strategies are aligned with latest internal and external environmental, market and economic factors. Build and maintain organizational consensus and alignment to the APAC Packaging category strategies. + Work with APAC Packaging Category Manager to negotiate and manage key strategic supplier contracts, Long Term Agreements, cost negotiations and relationships. + Apply skillful negotiations with suppliers; conducts problem resolution and settles disputes; develops win/win solutions and creates positive relations with tact and expert judgement + Develop strong positive ethical relationships with suppliers & adhere to Eaton’s Code of Conduct **Qualifications:** • Bachelor’s degree or above. • Must have more than 3 years of packaging purchasing experience. • Knowledgeable in indirect purchasing, expertise in the areas of market trend, raw material and manufacturing. • Experience in manufacturing industry is required. • NPI product development knowledge is an advantage. • Knowledge of SAP ERP system is a plus. • Good communications skills. • Must be a team player and a relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills. • Must have strong negotiation and supplier management skills. • Experienced in working in a global, multi-national and off-shore organization and suppliers. • Results and detailed oriented. • Strong ethics and professional presence required. **At Eaton, we don’t just want to offer you a job, but a journey and experience.
