Sourcing Director
Job Title: Sourcing Director

Key Responsibilities:Lead the evolution of procurement operations, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and value creation.Inspire and manage a team of procurement professionals, cultivating a culture of excellence and accountability.Design and implement sourcing strategies that support long-term business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.Build and sustain strategic relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure quality, innovation, and reliability.Oversee daily procurement activities, ensuring compliance, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.Provide strategic insights and market intelligence to guide sourcing decisions and mitigate risks.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, KPI development, and benchmarking.Champion change management efforts to unlock value in critical spend categories.Attract, develop, and retain top-tier talent within the procurement and supply chain function.Core Competencies:Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and category management.Proven ability to manage global supplier networks and navigate complex international markets.Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.Demonstrated success in delivering cost savings and operational improvements.Effective leadership and team-building experience in fast-paced environments.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior sourcing leadership role.In-depth knowledge of global sourcing practices, particularly in manufacturing and industrial sectors.Experience sourcing from low-cost regions and emerging markets.Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and advanced supply chain analytics tools.Understanding of international trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance standards.Willingness to travel as needed to support global sourcing initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
