Sourcing and Contracts Specialist
Job Description The Sourcing and Contracts Specialist will lead procurement and inventory operations, manage vendor relationships, and oversee contract lifecycle activities. This role supports clinical and administrative teams to drive cost savings, ensure compliance, and enhance patient care delivery. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Contract Management - Draft, review, and negotiate vendor contracts - Ensure legal compliance and alignment with organizational goals - Track performance, amendments, and renewals Strategic Sourcing - Develop sourcing strategies and supplier scorecards - Consolidate underperforming vendors and optimize GPO contracts - Identify cost-saving opportunities through standardization and price leveling Procurement & Inventory - Manage purchasing of medications, PPE, and medical supplies - Maintain secure storage and par levels - Resolve vendor issues and ensure contract compliance Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with clinical and operational leaders on sourcing needs - Train staff on procurement systems (Workday, GPO tools) - Support product conversions and system-wide initiatives Data & Financial Analysis - Extract and analyze cost data, RVUs, and productivity metrics - Track and report monthly cost savings and avoidance We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements - 5+ years in sourcing/procurement - 3+ years in invoice resolution (hospital/ambulatory setting) - Experience in contract administration, financial modeling, and budgeting - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
