Sourcing Analyst – Category Management Support

Reports To: Category Manager / Director of Procurement

Department: Procurement

The Sourcing Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Category Management team by executing sourcing strategies, conducting market and spend analyses, and managing supplier data to drive value across procurement categories. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and is passionate about optimizing procurement performance.

In the Role:

Sourcing Execution Support: Assist Category Managers in preparing and managing RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, including supplier outreach, bid analysis, and documentation.

Market & Spend Analysis: Conduct detailed spend analyses and market research to identify sourcing opportunities, cost drivers, and supplier trends.

Supplier Evaluation: Support supplier selection processes by developing scorecards, coordinating stakeholder feedback, and maintaining supplier performance data.

Contracting Support: Collaborate with legal and procurement operations to support contract negotiations, redlining of commercial terms, and contract metadata tracking.

Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement data in systems like Coupa and Power BI; generate dashboards and reports to support decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in Finance, Legal, HR, Facilities, and IT to align sourcing activities with business needs.

Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure sourcing activities comply with internal procurement policies and risk management protocols.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.

3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain analytics.

Strong analytical and Excel skills

Familiarity with category management principles and strategic sourcing processes.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Experience supporting categories such as HR, Marketing, Facilities, or IT preferred.

Experience with Coupa or similar contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and procurement tech platforms preferred.

Power BI or data visualization experience preferred.

Location: Irving, TX Hybrid schedule
