What We Offer Work in concert with Maternal-Fetal physicians to obtain high quality images and provide exceptional patient care. What We're Looking For Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography or Sonography Program; or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required. Experience: Minimum of one year of OB experience, preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration (required): RDMS, OB Additional Skills/Requirements (required): + Must have current BLS certification upon hire and maintain throughout employment as required by department + Must maintain ARDMS certification + Excellent communication skills required + Working knowledge of various ultrasound devices + Must have ability to independently obtain high quality images needed to assist MFM physician with diagnosis + Perform high-level sterilization according to Clinical Compliance standards following each exam + Ability to successfully complete departmental and organizational skills validation and competencies as required Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred): + Able to perform independently to obtain high quality images and advanced Doppler techniques + Able to assist MFM physician with complex procedures + Ability to put patient at ease during ultrasound(s) and procedure(s) + Reconciles patient's medical and prenatal history, current medications, medication allergies etc. + Demonstrate willingness to be flexible as needed to accomplish departmental needs and goals Why Choose Novant Health?
