Graduate of AMA approved ultrasound program, ARDMS certified. + Experience: One year Ob/Gyn experience preferred. + Licensure/Certification: RDMS, OB required. NT Certification preferred. + Additional skills required: + Must be NT certified within first year of employment. + Must have current BLS certification upon hire and maintain throughout employment as required by department. + Must maintain ARDMS certification. + Excellent communication skills required. + Working knowledge of various ultrasound devices. + Must have ability to independently obtain high quality images needed to assist MFM physician with diagnosis. + Perform high-level sterilization according to Clinical Compliance standards following each exam. + Ability to successfully complete departmental and organizational skills validation and competencies as required. + Additional skills required: + Able to perform independently to obtain high quality images and advanced Doppler techniques. + Able to assist MFM physician with complex procedures. + Ability to put patient at ease during ultrasound(s) and procedure(s). + Reconciles patient's medical and prenatal history, current medications, medication allergies etc. + Demonstrate willingness to be flexible as needed to accomplish departmental needs and goals.
