Job Summary and Responsibilities

Position Summary:

In keeping with the Marian Medical Center healthcare philosophy, the Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer performs ultrasound procedures at a technically proficient level. Positions and instructs the patient, operates ultrasound equipment and determines the technical factors for ultrasound procedures. Ensures correct marking/labeling of images, provide and confirm proper/adequate documentation of procedures to assist in diagnosis. Technically proficient in a variety of ultrasound procedures. Ability to train staff members to perform procedures requiring independent judgement. Position requires ingenuity and initiative for the diagnosis and therapy of disease.


Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
