Solutions Test Manager - INTL Hungary
Job Description This role will be part of the Quality Assurance Center of Competence (QAC) headquartered in Vienna but will be based in their Budapest, Hungary office. The Solution Test Manager will work closely with project management, product teams, and various customer stakeholders. Skills and Requirements 1. Technical Expertise: a. Strong expertise in implementing QA approaches for large-scale, multi-system solutions, including functional and non-functional testing (performance, failover). b. Proficiency in test automation, TestOps practices, cloud technologies, and microservice architecture 2. Proven Leadership Experience: a. 5+ years in QA leadership or test management, coordinating testing for complex, multi-component systems and enforcing QA standards across teams. 3. Domain Knowledge: a. Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and multi-system integration testing. Experience with testing lottery systems or regulated industries preferred 4. Proactive & Strategic Mindset: a. Ability to anticipate issues before they escalate, take ownership of solutions, and balance technical quality requirements with business objectives 5. Soft skills: a. Outstanding Interpersonal Skills - Strong ability to build relationships, influence without direct authority, and maintain client partnerships during challenging project phases. b. Confidently push back on customer demands when appropriate. c. Communication Excellence - Fluent in English, translating technical issues into business terms for diverse stakeholders. 1. ISTQB Advanced Level Certification 2. Any other QA certifications 3. Expertise in test and project management tools like: TestRail, QTest or Jira.
