Job Overview: 

Individual contributor role focused on developing tools and applications specific to the needs of our global commercial business at Labcorp. Will require excellent collaboration and effective communication under the supervision of a Manager level or above.

Summary of Responsibilities: 

Supports tool building, while taking the lead on parts of the project to own.Owns a tool to manage/update that is low complexContributes to process changes to support the business, while owning parts of the imitative/process changeParticipates in Strategic Pricing initiativesPrimarily independent workerSome oversight needed, but not on every taskIntermediate programming experience, with the drive to continue to improve this skill while learning from the team.Leads meetings for all tool related activities to ensure expectations are clearContributes to meetings and takes a portion of the work/project, which will support the entire project.Must meet all deadlines and escalate as appropriate when a timeline may lapse.Support the team to ensure the group is driving profitable business growth and meeting the business goals and objectives.Analyze internal and external data in order to maximize/drive new business creation while also managing to margin targets.Ability to support client grid mapping/programming with simple gridsOther duties as assigned

Qualifications Include: 

Bachelor’s degree required and preferred in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or related field

Experience:  

• 4 years minimum experience analyzing data

• Comfortable managing and analyzing large data sets through statistical techniques

• Programming skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment 

Additional Skills / Education Desired:  

Attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact 

Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with internal stakeholders, clients and Labcorp senior management 

Knowledge of proposal management software applications (e.g., Salesforce.com,  Proposal Automation applications) is preferred  

Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize 

Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills 

Proven ability to work independently 

Ability to work to deadlines 

Strong analytical skills 

Positive attitude and sense of urgency 

Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours as needed to accommodate global schedules or meet the client’s delivery needs.
