We are seeking a Solutions Integration Engineer to accelerate the delivery of innovative solutions for our most important thought leading retail customers. This role sits at the intersection of customer engagement, technical implementation, and solution design. Unlike a traditional pre-sales Solutions Engineer, this position is focused on building and delivering working integrations and tools that bring immediate value to the customer.
You will work closely with our customers to deeply understand their goals, then rapidly prototype, configure, and implement solutions that bring those goals to life. Backing you is a purpose-built team—including a project manager, account manager, product manager, designer, and data analyst—ensuring you have the support and expertise needed to succeed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on taking technical ownership of integration projects, making thoughtful, design-informed implementation decisions, and adapting off-the-shelf or lightweight custom tools into solutions that deliver immediate value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Collaboration: Partner directly with customer stakeholders to understand retail business challenges and define integration opportunities that create measurable impact.Integration Development: Use modern integration frameworks and best practices to build connections between ThirdChannel’s system APIs and customer data streams (sales, inventory, traffic, conversion).Rapid Solution Delivery: Configure and deploy new software solutions quickly, leveraging existing tools and sometimes through lightweight custom development.Product Team Partnership: Work closely with ThirdChannel’s product team (designer, PM, engineers) to ensure solutions are well-integrated, user-friendly, and consistent with broader platform capabilities. Technical Design Input: Provide implementation-driven design suggestions that influence workflows, interfaces, and integration choices without taking on full product ownership.Analytics Enablement: Collaborate with internal analysts to connect integrated data pipelines to dashboards, reporting, and customer-facing insights.Scalability & Reuse: Identify integration patterns, tools, or frameworks that can be reused across customers for faster, more consistent delivery.Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements to internal systems and customer-facing implementations based on lessons learned in the field.SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
3–6 years of experience in solutions engineering, integration, or product/implementation engineering with direct customer exposure. Strong technical ability in APIs, ETL processes, system integrations, and cloud-based platforms.Familiarity with integration and workflow tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Make, Fivetran, Zapier, custom connectors).Proficiency in SQL and comfortable working with large, relational datasets.Ability to translate customer requirements into actionable technical designs.Excellent collaboration skills — able to work closely with designers, PMs, engineers, and analysts.Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience working with retail or e-commerce data streams (sales, inventory, traffic, orders, conversion) preferred.Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment with shifting priorities.REPORTING STRUCTURE
