Solutions Architecture - Advisor II

About your role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our innovative team. You will lead the architectural design and implementation of web-based applications and services. This role is critical in designing robust, scalable solutions that align with our business objectives and enhance our client's overall experience.

What you’ll do:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define functional and non-functional requirementsDesign, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using C# and related technologiesEnsure the integration of UI components with backend services, emphasizing performance and responsivenessMentor and guide junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharingEvaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve development processes and outcomesConduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsParticipate in architectural discussions and contribute to architectural documentationWork with Oracle databases to design efficient data models and optimize query performance, ensuring seamless data access and managementImplement security best practices in application design, including data encryption, secure API access, and compliance with industry standards to protect sensitive informationAnalyze and optimize application performance, including profiling and diagnostics, to ensure high availability and scalability of solutions

Experience you’ll need to have:

7+ years of experience as a Software Architect or in a similar role with a strong portfolio of successful projects7+ years of experience in web UI development, using Angular for frontend development7+ years of experience in C# for backend services developmentStrong understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architectureProficiency with Oracle databases, including experience in data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuningKnowledge of security best practices for application development and data protectionFamiliarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practicesDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience that would be great to have:

Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycleExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressureStrong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate across teams
