What we look for?

We are looking for a Solutions Architect with expertise in REST fundamentals and API design for a project with a client from the banking sector.

High english level is required.

100% Remote from Spain, Portugal, Poland or UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyse business and technical requirements and translating them into architectural designs. Creating and maintaining comprehensive architecture documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and design documents. Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the solution lifecycle ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices. Identifying technical risks and proposing mitigation strategies to ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of solutions. Collaborating with cross functional teams, including developers, engineers, project managers and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions. Ensuring the quality of technical solutions through code reviews, architecture reviews and adherence to coding standards and best practices. Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Providing technical support and guidance to project teams during solution implementation, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring successful delivery. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, architectural standards, and governance policies throughout the solution lifecycle. Producing specifications of cloud based or on-prem components, tiers, and interfaces for translation.

Mandatory requirements:

Expertise in REST fundamentals and API design best practices with Open API. (ideally open Api Specification 3.0 standards) Strong knowledge of API Standards & patterns Knowledge of any technology (Front-end, Middleware or Back-end), including detailed knowledge of infrastructure, networking design, Cloud Architecture, AWS services and industry deployment Understanding of software architecture patterns and have detailed knowledge of any software design methodologies, principles, and patterns. Strategic planning and frameworks Systems analysis and development learning Experience in Data Modelling – star/snowflake Schemas, efficient storage, normalisation. Experience in Data structures (tables, views, stored procedures) Capability to distinguish between appropriate segregation of solution design in terms of People, Process, Technology with an emphasis on end-user experience and the Banks Digitalisation agenda. Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Knowledge of transitional architecture Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strategic mindset to align business objectives with organisational goals. Proficiency in project management
