As a Solutions Architect on our Manufacturing Digitalization team, you will be the main driver for the modernization and standardization of our manufacturing application landscape.

Job Description► Innovate & Solve: Proactively seek out and implement innovative solutions to solve complex manufacturing IT challenges.
► Modernize & Transform: Drive the modernization and replacement of applications and infrastructure across the manufacturing domain to improve performance and scalability.
► Mentor & Lead: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to manufacturing IT teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
► Set the Standard: Define and govern architectural standards, technology frameworks, and best practices for the organization.
► Design & Integrate: Architect complex integration patterns to ensure seamless, secure data flow between diverse IT and OT systems.
► Align & Clarify: Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, actionable technical designs.
► Strategize & Guide: Define and support the overarching architecture strategy for the entire manufacturing application landscape.
► Ensure Excellence: Achieve operational excellence by guaranteeing system availability, reliable data flow, and seamless integrations.
► Document & Communicate: Maintain clear and comprehensive architecture documentation to serve as a reference for IT teams and stakeholders.
► Define Your Focus: Your primary responsibility is the IT layer, while maintaining a strong awareness and understanding of the connected OT layer.
Core Requirements:
► A university degree in Production Engineering, Ind ustrial Automation, Industrial Engineering and Management, Industry 4.0, Digital Manufacturing, Smart Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering, or comparable qualification
► Alternatively, your main background is IT: Computer Science, Information Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or comparable qualification
► 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architecture, Software Architecture, or a similar role, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex IT solutions in manufacturing domain.
► Deep understanding of the manufacturing domain, including factory processes, production principles, and IT/OT convergence challenges. Your expertise should be centered on the IT layer, with a strong ability to interface with OT systems and teams.
Technical Skills & Experience:
► Expertise in Industry 4.0 concepts and experience with key manufacturing systems like MES, MOM, or SCADA.
► Strong software engineering background, with hands-on knowledge of modern application design, CI/CD pipelines, database design (SQL/NoSQL), and networking.
► Experience with modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
► Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, especially as they apply to securing IT/OT environments.
