Follow Zones, LLC on Twitter @Zones, and LinkedIn and Facebook. Position Overview: The Solution Architect – Lifecycle & Field Services is a senior-level role responsible for leading technical pre-sales and solutioning efforts across device services, field deployments, and lifecycle management. You will partner with sales, delivery, and technology vendors to design and price innovative solutions that align with customer requirements, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and competitive value. This role spans hardware, software, and managed services, driving client success through compelling solution design, proposal support, and high-quality delivery enablement. What you’ll do as the Solution Architect, Lifecycle & Field Services The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  This job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities of the position, and the duties and responsibilities may change without notice. This role requires up to 50% travel Create and present solution designs, offerings, and proposals aligned with client business needs.Lead pre-sales solutioning, pricing, and competitive positioning for field services and lifecycle solutions.Collaborate with technology vendors and internal delivery teams on solution planning and execution.Drive sales enablement initiatives, helping sales and presales teams articulate solutions effectively.Establish pricing models and technical documentation for RFPs and Statements of Work.Qualify opportunities, assess risks, and ensure scope clarity across hardware, software, services, and geographies.Participate in solution presentations, walkthroughs, and client workshops.Develop processes, tools, and metrics that enhance solutioning efficiency and productivity.Deliver solutions in areas such as:Service Desk & IT Asset ManagementModern Device Management (Intune, Jamf, WorkspaceOne)Field Deployments, Rack & Stack, Store-in-a-Box, Asset Tagging/KittingDevice Lifecycle, Refurbishment, ITAD, Warranty & Break/Fix servicesAudio/Visual Systems, Video Walls, POS Devices, UPS, and related environmentsWhat you will bring to the team: Strong expertise in IT service environments: service desk, field deployments, desktop engineering, device lifecycle, and A/V systems.Knowledge of tools and platforms such as ServiceNow, MECM (SCCM), Intune, VMware, and Microsoft Virtual Desktop.Ability to craft competitive proposals that balance effort estimation, pricing, and scope with delivery capability.Strong presentation, public speaking, and written articulation skills.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.7+ years of experience in IT pre-sales or solution architecture with leading consulting or technology firms.Broad experience across hardware, software, professional services, and managed services—ranging from small quick-turn proposals to large-scale, multi-million-dollar solutions.Deep understanding of cost and price benchmarks, with ability to price proposals competitively through global delivery.Strong knowledge of IT product vendors, service providers, and competitive landscape.Experience working in globally distributed teams with strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. #LI-LM1 Zones offers a comprehensive Benefits package
