Amazon is looking for a motivated and technically skilled Solutions Architect to work with customers, generating attention and support for Amazon Selling Partner API.
As a customer advisor, the Solutions Architect will help organizations understand the opportunities to develop and integrate with Selling Partner APIs. You will have the opportunity to help drive adoption of SP-API within organizations ranging from new start-ups to mid-sized customers. You should be comfortable building technical credibility with API Developers, Solution Architects, and Product Managers.
The ability to link technology with measurable business value is important to a solutions architect role. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think about business, products, and technical challenges.
Key job responsibilities
- Support customers in building secure applications, software and services on the Selling Partner API
- Help ensure Selling Partner API solutions comply with acceptable use policies, security standards, and best practices
- Contribute to technical products that support secure API development such as code samples and documentation
- Provide technical support and guidance for security controls to API developers
- Write code samples, tutorials, and technical articles for our developer community
- Work with customers to understand how they are using our API services, and provide feedback to development teams
- Act as a technical liaison between customer, support & engineering, and business teams
A day in the life
The Solutions Architect team supporting the Selling Partner API (SP-API) is responsible for helping external developers, ISVs, and partners successfully build API applications. In a typical week, you will engage with customers—guiding them through API best practices, authentication workflows, and integration patterns across Orders, Catalog, Fulfillment, and Notifications APIs. You will help partners understand how to automate inventory management, streamline order processing, and build selling experiences. Working with internal Amazon teams and leveraging knowledge of SP-API capabilities, you'll help craft reliable, compliant solutions that address our partners' business challenges. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to continuously learn and grow.

Our global Solutions Architecture team enables technology Solution Providers to build on Selling Partner API. Selling Partner API is an integrated web service API that helps Amazon Selling Partners programmatically exchange data on listings, orders, payments, reports, and more.
