We are looking for a strategic and technically skilled Solutions Architect to lead the design and integration of technology solutions across our Retail & Small Business Digital Banking platform. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, driving the architectural vision for online and mobile banking experiences that are modern, scalable, secure, and customer-centric.
You’ll be responsible for translating business needs into end-to-end solution designs, integrating a broad mix of components including front end channels, APIs, middleware, third-party vendors, and core banking systems. You will help set technical direction, create solution artifacts, guide development teams, and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities
Architecture & Design Leadership
Define and own solution architectures for key Retail Digital Banking initiatives, including mobile, online banking, and authentication platformsCreate high-quality architectural artifacts (diagrams, models, decision records) to support alignment and executionLead design reviews and provide architectural guidance throughout the development lifecycleSolution Development & Integration
Collaborate with engineering teams to define integration strategies between internal systems and third-party platformsEnsure robust middleware and API designs that support scalability, reuse, and flexibilitySupport seamless vendor integration with banking platforms and services
Business & Technical Consulting
Governance & Security
Ensure all solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory requirementsLead or contribute to technical and security reviews
Team Collaboration & Coaching
Guide and mentor development teams on technical patterns, best practices, and architecture standardsSupport cross-functional alignment and coordination across delivery teams

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Software application development
OR
High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Software application development
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with at least one major programming language (e.g. Java, Python, Go, etc.,)Minimum 3-5 years working with agile teamsMinimum 3-5 years experience working with front-end programming languages (e.g. REACT, node,js, etc.)Prior experience working with program and project delivery teams3-5 years of Domain Driven Design experienceDemonstrated ability with making architectural decisions that stickArchitecture certifications in AWS or AzureExperience with developing microservicesExperience with managing containerized workloadsExperience in retail digital banking or fintech strongly preferredStrong understanding of API design, middleware platforms, and microservicesExperience with third-party vendor integration and orchestrationFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern DevOps practicesWorking knowledge of security, data privacy, and compliance in the financial services domainExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to produce and communicate technical artifacts clearly and effectively
