AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth, business acumen and strong interpersonal skills. You will engage with some of the world’s largest companies to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate their ability to innovation.
As a trusted customer advocate, the Solutions Architect will work to understand their business needs and provide guidance and best practices on how to leverage cloud technologies to solve these with traditional or innovative solutions. The ability to connect technology with measureable business value and help customers solve problems is critical to a solutions architect. You will represent AWS in meetings and own the overall technical relationship between AWS and the customer up to C-level.

- Serve as a key technical member of the Business Development team in helping to ensure customer success in building applications and services on the AWS platform.
- Scope each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
- Own each technical engagement, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value.
- Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the solution architect communities.
- Communicate externally and internally for fulfilling customer's technical requirements.
- Support the English speaking organizations of our enterprise grade customer
