\nResponsibilities
Lead the planning, deployment, and continuous improvement of DHL’s Transport Management System (TMS) and DeliveryConnect solutions across multiple countries. Ensure successful implementation, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with regional product strategy while driving process harmonization and operational excellence.
\n\nProject Planning & Delivery\n\nPlan and execute end-to-end project activities including scheduling, controlling, reporting, and implementation.\nEnsure all elements for successful deployment are in place prior to and during implementation.\nDeliver project milestones on time, within scope, budget, and agreed quality standards.\nDevelop detailed implementation plans for TMS and DeliveryConnect projects, including scope management, gap analysis, functional specifications, design, and UAT support.\n\nRisk & Issue Management\n\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks; implement effective solutions to resolve issues.\nConduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective action plans.\nEnsure adherence to documented transition processes and post-implementation support requirements.\n\nStakeholder & Customer Engagement\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external customers, and vendors.\nLiaise with DHL customers and business development teams to understand supply chain and transport requirements, ensuring delivery of agreed solutions.\nManage stakeholder expectations and foster collaboration across teams and countries.\n\nSystem & Process Excellence\n\nEnsure system configuration, training, processes, and functionality are well documented and knowledge is shared across DHL Transport and IT communities.\nDesign, develop, test, and implement standards for TMS delivery, deployment, and integration components.\nDevelop integration standards, mapping specifications, and enhancements.\nDrive continuous improvement and process harmonization across countries.\n\nProduct & Change Management\n\nReview and create business cases; support the Product Manager in maintaining an updated strategic roadmap for TMS and DeliveryConnect.\nAssess and provide solutions for change requests, ensuring alignment with product strategy and best practices.\nPrioritize tasks and projects effectively, track progress, and ensure systematic follow-up.\n\nTraining & Knowledge Transfer\n\nDesign and deliver training for E2O TMS, DeliveryConnect, and supporting applications.\nDevelop SOPs, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources (e.g., documentation, presentations, videos).\nBuild capability across countries through formal training and alternative media.\n\nCollaboration & Leadership\n\nWork with DHL Transport Operations and country IT teams to deploy and enhance TMS and related applications.\nPartner with vendors to develop robust, supportable solutions that meet DHL requirements.\nAct as a role model, share knowledge, and encourage cross-team effectiveness.\n\nProblem-Solving & Autonomy\n\nRecommend process improvements and harmonize disparate processes across multiple countries.\nDeliver change and meet customer expectations in complex environments with limited resources.\nApply deep understanding of TMS and DeliveryConnect principles to design and implement practical solutions.\nDeploy technical and functional solutions aligned with regional product strategy.\n\n

Requirements\n5 - 7 Years in Supply Chain (transport) industry\nAppropriate tertiary and Quality-related qualifications\nStrong knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and related applications, preferably BluJay/E2O TMS knowledge.\nSpecialist level knowledge of S/W development lifecycle & support - advanced understanding of technical and software architecture\nProven experience in project management, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.\nAbility to manage complex projects across multiple countries and cultures.\nAbility to influence without authority is required strongly / significantly in this role\nExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience in process improvement and harmonization initiatives.\nTechnical and functional expertise in integration standards and system deployment.\nThe role holder must display self initiative but understand the role as an integrated team role\nJob application closes on 6 Jan 2026\n
