Job Description:
This job is responsible for defining the engineering approach within an end-to-end technology stack. This job will align to a technical domain but acts as contributor to multiple cross functional teams. Key responsibilities include engaging in development and production environments to identify and improve performance/capacity issues and creating and ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise standards. Job expectations include providing and contributing to improvements in solution design, testing, and delivery practices.
Responsibilities:
Participates in solution-driven discussions, such as various Communities of Practice (COPs), contributes to the design of large or highly complex architectural designs, and finds creative solutions through their knowledge of the domain and operational constraintsProduces detailed designs of infrastructure and application architecture componentsEnsures that execution aligns with product strategy by working with product management, product owners, and other stakeholders, contributing to the technology strategy for their technical domainCollaborates with Development and Infrastructure teams to understand technical solutions and provide the performance capabilities required in the application across the technology stack put forward by Solution Engineer LeadMentors and guides more junior Engineers ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standardsRequired Qualifications:
Information Technology professional with 5+ years of experienceMiddleware products: Apache, J2EE, Java, JBoss, WebSphere Application Server, TomcatOperating Systems: Linux, WindowsJava/Container Framework KnowledgeKnowledge of shell, Python, and JenkinsUnderstanding of Network infrastructure (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS,DNS, Load-balancers, firewalls, proxies, B2B links)Experience with Release Deploy Tools: Ansible, Ansible Tower, XLR, BitBucketExcellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detailDesired Qualifications:
