Job Description This specialty insurance company is looking for a strong Solution Architect to oversee application development in their Property practice. This person will be responsible for the architectural & technical design of inhouse, new & existing applications. Responsibilities will include some aspects of hands on delivery writing code, reviewing code, managing repositories, mentoring junior staff, and working collaboratively with cross-functional IT stakeholders. Key projects include refactoring an existing application from older versions of .Net & Angular to their newest versions, putting newly created AI enabled applications into production, and some legacy application work. A strong candidate will have experience owning architectural strategy, have hands on development experience, have exposure to Azure DevOps, experience with API first architecture experience, & be dynamic to adapt in an ever changing technical environment. An excellent candidate will come from the Insurance industry and have Azure cloud certifications.
