Baker Hughes is currently hiring a Solution Architect – Process Optimization to join the team. We are looking for an experienced individual with a background and experience in implementing advanced process control and/or real-time optimization applications for process plants. The solution architect will lead technical pre-sales activities of Cordant Process Optimization solution. Baker Hughes Cordant Process Optimization solution is based on a novel approach that combines process domain knowledge along with advanced machine learning techniques. As a solution Architect, you are expected to provide process and optimization domain expertise for extending existing product offerings in varied industrial processes, e.g. LNG, syngas processes, gas processing, petrochemicals and refining.
Key responsibilities:
Required QualificationsA bachelor's degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing Advanced Process Control (APC) and/or optimization solutions.Process design experience of varied industrial processes incl., but not limited to LNG, gas processing (fractionation), syngas processes incl. ammonia, urea and methanol fertilizer industries, gas processing, refining and olefins.Proven ability to successfully lead technical implementation of APC and/oroptimization projects on complex industrial processes.Business Acumen and the ability to provide technical support in customer facing meetingsProven experience working with people in an operating plant or other operational setting.
