CGI is seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Microsoft 365 to design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, bridging technology and business needs to develop scalable, secure, and innovative solutions leveraging M365, Power Platform, and related Microsoft tools. You will work closely with stakeholders, project teams, and technology leaders to define architecture strategies, ensure alignment with governance and security standards, and enable modern workplace transformation.
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and implement enterprise solution architectures across business, application, information, and technology domains.
- Lead the integration of M365 services (SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, Power Platform) with enterprise applications and on-premises environments.
- Develop and implement migration and modernization strategies for legacy collaboration systems to M365 cloud-native platforms.
- Ensure solution designs align with enterprise security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with project managers and delivery teams to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to establish reusable frameworks, integration patterns, and automation strategies.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and technical presentations to communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to delivery teams during project execution.
- Support the adoption of Agile practices and continuous improvement across solution delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT, including at least 5 years in solution or systems architecture.
- Proven expertise in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) management and M365 security.
- Experience integrating Microsoft tools with ERP/CRM platforms such as SAP or Salesforce.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, hybrid identity, and modern workplace frameworks.
- Familiarity with governance, compliance, and licensing models within M365.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps and Agile project methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to deliver innovative architectural solutions.
- Collaborative team player with experience leading cross-functional delivery teams.
- Bilingualism (English/French) required.
