Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Solar Service Coordinator to join our team in Vacaville, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting the Solar Service Department by managing administrative tasks, coordinating field service activities, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for renewable energy.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and processing labor reimbursements for warranty-related services.
• Investigate and remotely troubleshoot issues, schedule site visits, and provide updates to customers for Solar Service Department work orders.
• Respond to a high volume of customer service inquiries, ensuring all interactions are documented accurately in the tracking system.
• Offer remote troubleshooting assistance to customers and collaborate with manufacturers for advanced technical troubleshooting when needed.
• Coordinate and schedule site visits for field technicians, and review post-visit results to ensure resolution of issues.
• Maintain strong communication with customers, peers, and managers, building and sustaining positive working relationships.
• Assist with various administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the department.
• Ensure timely and detail-oriented communication with Builder/Service Partners to support project completion.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Efficient, self-driven, and capable of maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Detail-oriented and possessing strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and tools such as ADP, Concur, and Cisco Webex Meetings is a plus. TalentMatch®
