Must be comfortable being away from home for 2–6 weeks per project. Reports To: Operations Lead / Project Manager Overview We’re looking for Solar Logistics Field Operators to support the fast-paced setup and operation of solar panel storage and staging warehouses. These team members will be on the ground helping to ensure smooth logistics and warehouse workflows. This is a field-based, hands-on role ideal for those with strong warehouse experience who enjoy fast-paced logistics environments. You'll assist with warehouse setup, inbound/outbound logistics, and day-to-day activity at temporary job sites. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Setup & Organization + Assist with the setup and layout of warehouse space using CAD-based designs provided by the client. + Prepare the site for incoming inventory and ensure optimal use of space for staging and storage. + Help implement safe and efficient workflows for handling and storing solar panels. Inbound/Outbound Logistics + Receive and help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments of solar panels and related equipment. + Ensure proper staging and placement of materials based on delivery schedules and layout plans. + Work closely with shipping teams and drivers to maintain an organized flow of materials. Quality & Inventory Support + Inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies and report findings as needed. + Help maintain accurate inventory tracking and documentation using client-provided systems. + Follow all safety and material-handling protocols to protect products and personnel. On-Site Operational Support + Act as an on-the-ground problem-solver, adjusting to dynamic warehouse conditions. + Communicate clearly with internal teams, vendors, and site leads to keep operations running smoothly. + Contribute to resolving startup-phase challenges—adaptability and proactive thinking are key! Qualifications + Prior experience working in warehouse operations, logistics, or field support roles. + Familiarity with shipping/receiving, material staging, and inventory control. + Comfortable using warehouse tools, handling documentation, and following layout plans. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in fast-paced environments. + Strong communicator who works well in team settings and across departments. + Experience in renewable energy, solar logistics, or large-scale warehousing is a plus—but not required.
