Job brief

Looking for a passionate Software Engineer to test and verify developed software solutions.

Software Verification Engineer responsibilities include understand user requirements, Monitor, and test product quality, identify issues, and recommend solutions. Candidate will also work with other departments to ensure quality standards are met.

Ultimately, the role of the Software Verification Engineer is to build high quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.

ResponsibilitiesDesign test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online ascreen, or content.Develop testing programs that address areas such as  impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments.Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.Update automated test scripts to ensure currency.

Requirements and skillsPrevious work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar roleHands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologiesIn-depth understanding of technical documentationAble to code in scripting language like Python (Must to have)Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesTeam spiritGood analytical skillsAdditional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus
