You will work along multiple talented engineers in driving the automation effort of the storage solutions, create tools that provide the backbone of the quality systems and solve complex problems. **Your role and responsibilities** In this role you'll join a best class cross country team that will help you to grow and develop new high technical skills in many different areas such as storage, test automation, networking, agile development process, etc. Test engineers responsibilities are to setup and maintain the physical and logical configuration of the assigned test environments, execute test scenarios specified in a test plan, make sure to do high quality test executions based on customer documentation and focused on defects finding. Follow up an execution schedule and timely report issues and blockers, raise quality defects providing proper analysis and all data required by development for trouble shutting. Track raised defects, retest and develop scripts to automate test environments and tests scenarios. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Studies in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. * Experience working with Linux shell scripting, command-line tools, and automation scripts. * Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test reporting. * Test scenario design, development, execution and result analysis * Defect artifact collection, creation, management, and fix verification * Test system and environment maintenance and administration * English skills **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Linux Admin skills * VMware * Phyton basics IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
