Job Title: Software Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Software Test Engineer with expertise in embedded testing, particularly within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and execute validation tests, emphasizing the hardware and software aspects of displays and gauges subsystems across various vehicle product lines.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop plans, setup, and execute validation tests for vehicle electronics and software.Collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure comprehensive validation.Focus validation efforts on the hardware and software components of displays and gauges subsystems.Work effectively across multiple product lines within the organization.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in design, verification, or validation of electronics, especially related to vehicle controls, displays, and communication equipment.Proficiency in communication technologies such as CAN, Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, VHF, and Cellular.Experience with UDS and J1939.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced development environment.Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting methods.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with DFMEA, SFMEA, and Functional Safety.Familiarity with Agile software development methodology in the automotive industry.Experience with requirements and test case management tools like DOORS, Test Rail, and CodeBeamer.Experience working with global teams and project management.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
