What will you do:
In this role you will:
Validate that production deployments behave as intended and meet quality standardsEnsure reliable execution of nightly integration, regression, and load testsDesign, implement, and maintain automated test suites for new API integrationsCollaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to support frequent and successful production deploymentsAct as a quality champion for Data Streams, including:Automated monitoring of operational metricsDetection of pipeline errors and failuresProactive identification of system deficienciesReview and improve testing mechanisms for IoT integrations (e.g., Tridium, BACnet)Identify bottlenecks in existing test strategies and recommend improvementsResearch and adopt industry best practices for testing data-streaming technologiesWhat you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Electrical, controls Engineering, or a related field3+ years of proven experience as a Software Test Engineer / QA EngineerStrong experience in:Test planning for cloud-native applicationsDesigning test cases including functional, edge, and negative scenariosSolid understanding of different testing levels:Unit testingSystem testingIntegration testingLoad / performance testingSecurity testingHands-on experience with test automation using Python, CypressExposure to AWS or other cloud platformsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform preferred)Strong communication skills with the ability to:Clearly articulate issuesRaise quality risks proactivelyNice-to-Have Skills
End-to-end testing of IoT integrations, including messaging protocols like MQTTKnowledge of DevOps practices, including:Deployment strategies (e.g., canary deployments)CI/CD pipelinesGitLab workflowsUnderstanding of microservices-based architecturesFamiliarity with Building Management Systems (BMS)We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
