Job Description We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer with strong systems thinking and product data domain expertise to join a Product Information Management (PIM) scrum team. This team owns how product information flows from upstream systems into PIM, through product APIs and feeds, and out to marketplaces, commerce sites, and analytics platforms. In this role, you’ll focus on end-to-end and integration testing across multiple applications. You will validate new attributes, rules, and mappings; verify marketplace feeds and API payloads; and ensure product data is accurate, complete, and compliant across regions. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product owners, analysts, vendors and integration partners to design test strategies that cover complex data flows and business rules. If you have experience with e-commerce product catalogs, PIM systems, or marketplace integrations—and enjoy digging into data, APIs, and cross-system behavior—this is an opportunity to shape quality for a critical part of this company’s ecosystem. This position is Hybrid in STL. This compensation is based on years of experience and ranges between $35-$40/hr. Skills and Requirements • 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering or system/integration testing, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or product information domains. • Hands-on experience testing data-intensive systems such as PIM, product catalog, merchandising, or marketplace/feed integrations. • Strong systems thinking skills, with a proven ability to model and reason about workflows that span multiple applications, services, and data stores. • Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST clients) and comfort working with JSON/XML payloads, API documentation, and contract/functional testing. • Solid data literacy: ability to work with SQL and/or scripting (e.g., Python or similar) to inspect, compare, and validate datasets, exported files, and transformations. • Experience validating file-based integrations (e.g., CSV, XML, JSON over SFTP), including structure, content, schedules, and error handling. • Strong understanding of functional, integration, and end-to-end testing practices, with an emphasis on non-UI testing and data correctness. - Azure - SFCC
