As a Software Quality Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in helping us to give our clients the best possible experience. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. With your expertise in software testing, you will contribute to the success of our products and help us maintain our reputation for excellence. You will report directly to our Quality Assurance Manager, and you'll work out of our Toronto, Canada location on a hybrid work schedule. Occasional trips to the USA may occur. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + You know your stuff. Test plans, Test, cases, bug tracking and root cause analysis is your bread and butter + Together we are one. Be ready to collaborate with other teams and share your knowledge. We want your critical thinking. + Communication is key. You will be involved in every part of a project. Be critical + Manage your time. You will need to balance manual and automated tests in your team. We want you to take the reins. YOU MUST HAVE + 5+ years of experience in software testing, manual and automated. + 2+ years of hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Appium. + 2+ years of experience in API testing and contracting tool. + 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, or any scripting language + 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines. WE VALUE + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field + You can work in a team + You are independent and can work with minimal support + Solid experience working in a fast-paced Agile environments + You are proactive.
