Software QA Analyst
About the Role We are seeking a Software QA Analyst to lead and participate in designing, creating, testing, and implementing automated testing solutions that reduce risk and accelerate time-to-value for software products. This role acts as a technical lead for testing coverage and practices, ensuring quality across complex product interactions and new feature functionality. You will champion a quality-first mindset within the team and help integrate testing into the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities + Plan and execute various types of testing (e.g., regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, performance) for new and existing functionality. + Collaborate with development teams to design testing strategies and integrate them into the SDLC. + Identify opportunities to automate repeatable tests to reduce time and effort. + Execute and implement test cases, working closely with engineers, product partners, and business stakeholders. + Document and analyze test results, recommending corrective actions as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in a related field. + Minimum of 3+ years of QA or software testing experience. + Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). + Familiarity with software development practices and procedures. + Hands-on experience with Selenium, C#, Postman, and test automation frameworks. + Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively. Preferred Qualifications + Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). + Familiarity with application performance monitoring and observability tools. + Insurance industry knowledge and product familiarity. + Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution. + Experience with Agile planning tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
