Your Role
As a Software Project Manager on our team, you’ll be responsible for driving software project delivery within our infotainment business, acting as a key member regularly reporting project activities to Aptiv and Customer leadership.
In your daily job you will:
Lead the sub-system development of embedded software that meets the requirements specified by the customer and delivered according to the scheduleLead international/distributed software development teams for automotive electronics projectsPlanning and tracking of features/functionsDefect estimation and trackingMonitoring and measuring project level performance in terms of timing, quality and cost (metrics) Tracking and scheduling input/output from/to other areas of expertiseAct as the client's main point of contact for all project software issuesAct as Support project software audits - internal and externalRisk management at project levelChange management with customers, suppliers and the project teamNegotiate schedule and content of software deliveries with clients, subcontractors and the project teamSupport adherence to software processes and quality assurance standards quality assurance standards Coordinate/lead global software development teamsSW development teams - work with internal Aptiv software development teamsUnderstanding dependencies, developing integration plansMonitoring the completion of functions against the schedule and to commitmentCollaborate with Aptiv's third-party software vendorsMonitor feature completion against schedule and commitmentsBuilding customer relationships, developing reporting KPIsEnsure that the customer is always informed about the latest status of the programYour Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
3+ years of experience in software development and deploymentBachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer EngineeringExperience with globally distributed teamsWillingness to travel internationallyKnowledge of SW quality processes (e.g. ASPiCE)Experience with monitoring quality through CI/CD and DevOps systemsVery good written and spoken English skillsWHY JOIN US?
