Job Title: Software Project Manager
Job Description

In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary interface with customers, ensuring their needs are met and managing interactions during the discovery and evaluation of requirements. You will oversee the execution of opportunities and maintain inter-group relationships throughout the pre-sales life cycle. Your responsibilities will include delivering proposal packages, conducting technical and business presentations, and ensuring that deliverables meet world-class standards.

ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary customer interface, maintaining focus and managing interactions during requirements discovery and evaluation.Manage execution on opportunities and maintain inter-group relationships throughout the pre-sales life cycle.Deliver proposal packages including Statements of Work (SOW), project plans, detailed schedules, resource planning, risk assessment and management, cost and profit analysis.Conduct technical and business presentations using strong written and verbal communication skills.Ensure deliverables meet world-class standards.Project high levels of confidence and strong technical ability to customers, with a track record of successful closure on opportunities.Embed a culture of continuous process improvement and optimization.Measure, analyze, and act to continuously improve customer satisfaction, including effective escalation management.Manage Software Engineers and other team members in due course.Essential SkillsPrevious experience with embedded systems and/or real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, Lynx, QNX, RTLinux.Formal software certification standards such as DO-178C, IEC61508, IEC62304 or equivalent.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.6+ years engineering experience or management expertise with embedded systems (software and/or hardware).Hands-on experience in Project Management with software safety certification standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsAdditional coursework in business management or a Project Management Institute certificate is a plus.Strong desire for candidate to have hands-on experience with software safety certification standards such as DO-178C, FACE, IEC61508, IEC62504, ISO26262.Expect up to 10% domestic and international travel.Work Environment

This position is fully remote within the United States, with the requirement to be a US citizen. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $80.00/hr.
