The Software Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating product development activities related to the qualification and formal release of components and products following standard company release process. It involves close coordination with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders across multiple geographic locations.
This position reports to the Software Process Manager and is part of the Software Department located in Concord, Ontario, Canada and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead a small cross-functional team to perform the formal qualification and release of user-facing components and products (e.g., custom computer configurations)
Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) using formal configuration and workflow management tools
Develop and maintain formal documentation such as specifications, vendor instructions, and design history files
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Prefer minimum of 5 years of experience in product development or the IT industry.
Demonstrated success in coordinating product development activities and creating corresponding formal documents and records.
Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 45lbs
Ability to connect cables, peripheral devices, and related hardware
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Managing relationship with third-party vendors
Creating and maintaining formal Bills of Materials (BOMs) using tools such as Enovia or 3DEXPERIENCE
Utilizing project management tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Project
Working with computer systems and operating systems (e.g., component setup, re-imaging, file systems, activation)

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
