We are seeking a Software Integration Engineer to integrate JEMINI Lab test suites in our development lab. The role involves developing configurations to support testing and prototypes of developing systems, creating and modifying scripts to extract specific information from log files, performing data analysis, troubleshooting issues, and documenting test results. The engineer will also author test plan documents, create discrepancy reports, assist in problem resolution, develop troubleshooting procedures, and execute detailed test plans.
Responsibilities
+ Integrate JEMINI Lab test suites within the development lab.
+ Develop configurations to support testing and prototype systems.
+ Create and modify scripts to extract information from log files.
+ Perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data.
+ Troubleshoot test and prototype issues.
+ Document test results and prepare test status documentation.
+ Author Spiral and build-level test plan documents and procedures.
+ Create Test Discrepancy Reports to document issues.
+ Assist software development personnel with problem investigation and resolution.
+ Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents.
+ Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures.
+ Plan and lead integration tests with external elements and sensors.
+ Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documents.
+ Attend meetings with customers and represent the Integration team.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in software integration and testing, including virtualized environments.
+ Experience in the integration of software and system components within an integrated test environment.
+ Working knowledge of system design, security design, and integration into an operational environment.
+ VMware exposure and experience with virtual servers.
+ Experience with UNIX.
+ Working knowledge in test plan/procedure preparation and test execution.
+ Hands-on experience with DoD integration processes.
+ Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
+ Ability to read and troubleshoot application source code.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of Containerized Virtual Environments is preferred.
+ Familiarity with Java and object-oriented development is a plus.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
+ Experience writing installation manuals, with the ability to write clear, concise system installation and configuration instructions.
+ Good communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with software developers, system administrators, and analysis and test engineers.
+ Must have the ability to acquire a TS/SCI clearance.
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite in Springs, with locations on Schriever and off HW 83 (Interquest & Voyager). The work schedule offers flexibility with options of working 4/10s or 9/80s, which means having every Friday or every other Friday off. The role involves working on a critical program supporting the MDA, with defense work supporting the DoD, ensuring job stability through 2029.

This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
