In a nutshell
We are looking for a Software Implementation Manager responsible for the software implementation functions of the Eurofins network’s laboratory solutions. This person will work with the local stakeholders of various Eurofins sites to evaluate current processes and develop an adoption plan. As the team lead, you will organise and coordinate the activities of the EU Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) implementation team to complete the implementation activities necessary for the implementation of in-house developed software, including but not limited to, training, documentation, instrument integration and ELN template/recipe/worksheet configuration. Currently the primary focus is ELN software.
As the business and software matures, responsibilities will shift to additional business lines or software.
This role is based in Europe with possible service worldwide.

As a Software Implementation Manager, you will:
Develop a strong understanding of software functionality through the utilisation of available documentation (e.g. User Requirements, Product Backlog Items, Release Notes, Module Functional Definition, SOPs, and Training Materials) and by collaborating with software Business Process Owners, Product Owners, NA Implementation Specialists, Business Analysts, etc. Design global training materials, and/or utilise training materials from the NA Implementation Specialist, for software implementation and optimised system use by the business.Lead or participate in software training sessions or subject matter expert workshops.In collaboration with local stakeholders and the EU ELN Implementation team, evaluate documentation practices in each testing area and identify the ELN documentation methodology to be implemented. Facilitate best practices and standardisation across EU BioPharma Product Testing (BPT). Draft/configure electronic worksheets and/or ELN templates/recipes to achieve rapid laboratory adoption of the software. In collaboration with local stakeholders and the EU ELN Implementation team, evaluate current business processes and identify changes necessary due to the impact of the new software.Provide consultation based on Lean principles.Promote software to maximize business value.Promote harmonised business practices.Fully committed to quality and regulatory (e.g. GMP) compliance.Provide a program plan for organised and achievable software deployment. Collaborate with local stakeholders to design detailed project plans.Facilitate process/software change. Work within the BPT IT Solutions Change Control process and facilitate change management/change acceptance. Foster relationships with business stakeholders that balances empathy and understanding with the ability to challenge and drive positive change.As software is adopted, provide surveillance to ensure intended use of the software. Provide support and consultation to local Subject Matter Experts in the case of end user questions.Provide accountability to maintain timeline commitments for software implementation:Routine meetings and close, active support for initial implementation plus additional templates.Consistent follow-up to ensure progress through 100% target implementation (e.g. bi-weekly).Consistent follow-up to ensure continuing success and value post-100% (e.g. monthly, quarterly).Quickly escalate at-risk deadline miss or issues of quality/regulatory non-compliance.Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has:
B.S. Science, Engineering, or Computer Science or an equivalent degree. Minimum 5 years of experience in Laboratory Operations and Testing.Been part of at least one software deployment, preferably within Eurofins BPT.Strong and proven background in laboratory science.Strong and proven leader and presenter.Lean certification or proficient with concepts. Exposure to international projects and multi-site collaboration is highly preferred.Very good English communication skills (concise writing and orally convincing).Very good interpersonal skills at all levels of the organisation, with capability to influence decisions and lead others to achieve results.Should possess great leadership skills to motivate users to adopt software and embrace change. Ability to work in a complex international environment.Responsive problem solver and takes proactive actions.Eager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilities.Demonstrated strong experience and knowledge of laboratory testing operations. Familiarity with common operational processes, use cases, analytical terminology.Open to travel for business – 50% of working time in the first two years of employment, then 30%.
