Software Engr I
This role will be responsible for carrying out the Verification & validation of the new products & solutions of Airport Business Units. Candidate shall have Verification & validation as follows: o  Design and implement validation & Verification strategies for new products, ensuring adherence to performance, reliability, and functionality criteria. o  Hands on experience in the Linux platform o   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand new product specifications and requirements. o  Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the validation phase, collaborating with the Development , Engineering and internal Test teams. o  Develop and execute test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of product features and functionalities. o  Provide technical support to Engineering team/customers during the validation process o  Collaborate with product development teams to communicate feedback and suggest improvements based on validation results. o  Document and report validation findings, ensuring clarity and precision in reporting. o  Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance validation processes & Implement different test technique while validation of Products to ensure flawless defects. Candidate shall have below airport domain experience •  Understands Airfield Solutions: •  Airfield Lighting (AFL) / Airfield Ground •  Lighting (AGL) •  Airport Operational Database (AODB) •  Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System •  Automatic Weather Observation System (AWOS) •  Category of Operation (CAT) •  Control & Monitoring System (CMS) •  Controller Working Positions (CWPs) •  Electronic Flight Progress Strip System (EFPS) •  Flight Information Systems (FIS) •  Ground Movement Radar (GMR) •  Ground Traffic Management (GTM) •  Instrument Landing System (ILS) •  Meteorological System (MET) •  Runway Visual Range (RVR) etc. Candidate shall have team work with following qualities •  Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment •  Analyze operating data and statistics to identify •  Develop process workflow and design in compliance with regulatory requirements •  Ability to remain calm under pressure •  Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written) •  Excellent problem solver and ability to understand impacts of actions YOU MUST HAVE + 2+ years experience Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
