We’re seeking a **Software Engineering Manager/Team Lead** for a high-performance development team within our **Product Analytics organization** , focused on managing the software, hardware, and data produced by industrial testers at scale. We look forward to seeing your application! **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + You will lead a team of engineers responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that power data ingestion, orchestration, analysis, and system health monitoring for large fleets of industrial test systems. + Lead and develop a team of software engineers focused on large-scale data-driven applications in the T&M domain. + Drive the technical strategy and execution for systems that manage measurement workflows and analytics across distributed test environments. + Ensure delivery of reliable, maintainable software through agile development practices and automated testing. + Collaborate with product owners to prioritize features that unlock actionable insights from measurement data. + Align team capabilities and priorities with the broader product analytics roadmap. + Hire, mentor, and grow engineering talent within a multidisciplinary environment. **Who You Are:** You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse collaborators. You model and encourage the expression of diverse ideas and opinions, and constantly look for new ways to bring more efficiency to the support for the team. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + A minimum of years of software engineering experience, including 2–3 years in a team leadership or management role. + Experience with data pipelines, telemetry, or distributed systems. + Proven success in leading agile development teams delivering production-grade software systems. **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Experience with any of the programming languages and tools: **C/C++, C#, Python, Elixir, Visual Basic, LabVIEW** , or RTOS/Linux environments. + Familiarity with **automated testing frameworks** and scalable test infrastructure. + Experience with **cloud-based telemetry platforms, edge computing, or CI/CD pipelines** . + Background in the **Test & Measurement** , **industrial software** , or **data-intensive system** domains. + Understanding of measurement workflows or instrumentation protocols (e.g., SCPI, GPIB, USB, Ethernet-based standards). **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
