Software Engineering Manager, Marketing Engineering
**Please submit your resume in English - we can only consider applications submitted in this language.** Only applications of candidates with Mexican citizenship will be evaluated for this role in compliance with the provisions of Article 7 of the Federal Labor Law. **Minimum qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Javascript). + 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent. + 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role. **Preferred qualifications:** + Experience mentoring and developing engineers into effective technical leaders. + Experience in building full stack web applications. + Experience developing software for data pipelines and third-party integrations. + Experience in building scalable and efficient ML solutions. + Experience working with program management and customers, and organizing large-scale efforts. + Experience working directly with the product team to help define the goals of a user-facing product. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company. **Responsibilities:** + Set and communicate team priorities, aligning strategy, processes, and decision-making with the broader organization's goals. + Set clear expectations for individuals that are aligned with the broader organization's goals, and meet regularly with them to discuss performance, provide feedback, and offer coaching. + Develop and evolve the mid-term technical direction and roadmap to meet anticipated future requirements and infrastructure needs across our multiple teams. + Design, guide and vet systems designs within the scope of the broader area, and write product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems. + Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
