We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Software Engineer Lead, Senior. This position is in support of the USAEUR Mission Partner G33 MCSD located in Wiesbaden, Germany. This position is located OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, and integrates software solutions on multiple platforms and on classified and unclassified networks and systems, including communications systems
Uses best practices (e.g., Agile) and DevSecOps tools (e.g., Jira, Cameo, Git) to develop, research, test, enhance, debug, implement, and integrate software solutions IAW user stories and requirements documents
Analyzes, designs, implements, tests, or evaluates software solutions and architecture models using modeling methodologies to conduct technical assessments and make recommendations that inform key technical decisions
Uses software development platforms in the USAREUR-AF and MP IT portfolios to develop and sustain software and applications
Collaborates with USAREUR-AF and MPs to capture, analyze, and verify requirements and assists with the transition to automated tools
Conducts testing of platforms, systems, and interfaces and submits release packages with service validation and test results to the Government
Supports maturation and facilitation of software integration analysis and reporting
Provides engineering expertise for migration and transition of systems, including from on-premises solutions to cloud-based solutions, and end-of-life replacement support
Provides technical solutions to complex problems, including troubleshooting to resolve software-related incidents and problems and improve performance and reliability
Develops and authors policies, procedures, guidelines, TTPs, application documentation, and deliverables, such as source code and software development products (DEL 13), in accordance with DoD guidelines, DISA STIGs, and IEEE 12207
May attend and participate in meetings to discuss new technologies, technology insertion projects, and modernization roadmaps
Mentors software engineers and developers
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge
May supervise others
Qualifications:
Required:
Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance with the ability to maintain
BA/BS +8-12 years experience
Certification - 8140 - CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or SSCP or PenTest+ or Security+ or GSEC
Demonstrates extensive experience in designing, developing, testing, debugging, implementing, and integrating software solutions on multiple platforms across classified and unclassified networks, including communications systems.
Exhibits mastery of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps tools such as Jira, Cameo, and Git for comprehensive software development lifecycle management, while excelling in analyzing, designing, and evaluating complex software solutions and architecture models to conduct technical assessments and make key recommendations.
Demonstrates proficiency in assessing emerging policies, technologies, and best practices to enhance network efficiency, effectiveness, security posture, and resiliency, showing expertise in using military IT portfolios to develop and sustain software applications.
Collaborates effectively with stakeholders to capture, analyze, and verify requirements, assisting with transition to automated tools, while conducting thorough testing of platforms, systems, and interfaces, with preferred experience submitting release packages with service validation and test results to the Government.
Supports maturation and facilitation of software integration analysis and reporting, providing engineering expertise for system migrations, including on-premises to cloud-based solutions and end-of-life replacement support.
Exhibits ability to develop and author policies, procedures, guidelines, TTPs, application documentation, and deliverables such as source code and software development products in accordance with applicable guidelines, preferably with experience doing so in a DoD environment.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments, with domain and expert technical knowledge.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
