Software Engineering Intern Job Description **Fall Internship** - September 2, 2025 - December 19, 2025 At Reality AI – Renesas Electronics, we work on Reality AI Tools – an AI-driven technology platform. It is a platform that offers prebuilt AI based modules and can be used to build, optimize and deploy ML models. We’re looking for a skilled Software Engineering Intern to join our Cloud Team – an agile scrum team. + The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of software development processes, along with solid experience with rapid development cycles. This person should be highly motivated in building robust code, finding technical issues and fixing them with meticulous code. + You will be given the opportunity to be a full stack developer that delivers on all layers of the technology stack following microservice architecture. These technologies and framework include NodeJS, ReactJS, AWS, JavaScript, and more. **Responsibilities** + Examine existing systems for flaws and create solutions that improve service uptime and time-to-resolve through monitoring and automated remediation + Design and build APIs and frameworks, automate testing, deployment, and management of services and products Qualifications + Must be enrolled full time in a bachelor’s / master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Software Engineering. + Strong experience (professional and academic) with NodeJS, JavaScript and Python. + Proven ability to understand design architectures and microservices. + Strong ability to analyze, troubleshoot and debug issues. Preferred skills and qualifications + Working knowledge of non-relational databases like MongoDB and Redis. + Web application development experience with ReactJS, AngularJS and likes of it. + Proficiency cloud-based services, like AWS Batch, Lambda, S3 etc. Additional Information The expected hourly pay range for this position is $28.50/hr - $39.00/hr. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer amount, including any applicable bonuses, will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, and skillset of the candidate.
